As one of our founding participants, you'll enjoy a personalized experience in a welcoming, small-group setting while helping helping shape this new community.

IS THIS CLASS RIGHT FOR ME?

This class is designed for adults of all ages and experience levels, including those who:

  • Are new to yoga

  • Prefer a gentle, low-impact practice

  • Spend long hours sitting or working at a desk

  • Want to improve flexibility, balance, and mobility

  • Are returning to movement after injury or illness (with healthcare provider approval)

  • Simply want to move more mindfully and feel better in their body

No previous yoga experience is necessary.


WHAT TO EXPECT

Each 60-minute class may include:

  • Gentle warm-ups

  • Breath awareness

  • Chair-supported yoga postures

  • Strength and balance exercises

  • Stretching for increased flexibility

  • Mindful movement

  • Relaxation and guided breathing

Every class is designed to meet you where you are. You'll always be encouraged to listen to your body, modify movements as needed, and practice at your own pace.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A sturdy chair without wheels

  • Comfortable clothing that allows for movement

  • Water

  • A quiet space where you can move comfortably

  • Optional: Yoga mat beneath your chair for stability


YOUR INSTRUCTOR

With over a decade of teaching experience, Tania Isaac is a certified yoga instructor, intuitive guide, and integrative energy healer dedicated to helping people reconnect with themselves through mindful movement, healing, and self-awareness.

Online Chair Yoga is one of the first offerings in Tania's personal wellness practice, bringing together years of experience with her belief that yoga should be accessible, supportive, and empowering for every body.

Her teaching style emphasizes presence, compassion, and mindful movement, creating a welcoming space where participants feel encouraged - not pressured - to explore movement in a way that honors their unique bodies, abilities, and life experiences.

Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to your practice, Tania's intention is to help you cultivate greater ease, strength, balance, and connection - both on and off the chair.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need previous yoga experience?

Not at all. This class is appropriate for beginners as well as those with previous yoga experience.

Is this class only for seniors?

No. Chair Yoga is beneficial for adults of all ages seeking a gentle, accessible approach to movement, strength, flexibility, and relaxation.

Do I need a special chair?

For the safest and most comfortable experience, choose a sturdy chair without wheels. A chair without armrests is preferred, as it allows for a greater range of motion during many of the movements and stretches.

A lightweight folding chair is an excellent option because it's easy to move and set up in a space that feels comfortable and distraction-free.

For added stability and to create a dedicated practice space, I recommend placing your chair on top of a yoga mat. The mat helps reduce the likelihood of the chair sliding on smooth flooring while also creating a simple ritual - a place to arrive, settle in, and enjoy your practice each week.

What if I can't do every movement?

That's completely okay. You'll always be encouraged to move within your own comfort level and modify or rest whenever needed.

When should I register?

Monthly Members are automatically registered for each weekly class.

If you're joining as a Single Class participant, please complete your registration and payment by 5:00 PM Pacific Time the day before class. This allows time to prepare class materials and send your Zoom information before the morning of class.

Single Class registrations received after the registration deadline will be applied to the following week's class.

What happens after I register?

After completing your registration and payment, you'll receive a welcome email with your Zoom link and everything you need for your first class.
